By purchasing From First to Fourth Trimester during the promotion period, you accept these terms and conditions.
1. About this promotion
1.1. This is a sales promotion offered by [Leading Midwifery Care] ("we", "us", "our") to thank customers who purchase our digital guide, From First to Fourth Trimester ("the guide").
1.2. The guide is a genuine product sold at its normal retail price of NZ$24.99. Every purchase during the promotion period includes, as a complimentary bonus, one (1) entry into the prize draw described below.
1.3. Entry into the draw is free. There is no separate fee to enter, and no part of the guide's purchase price is a charge for entry. The price of the guide is the same whether or not the draw is running.
2. Promotion period
2.1. The promotion opens at 03/08/2026 7am and closes at 12.00pm on 31/08/2026 New Zealand time.
2.2. Only guides purchased within the promotion period are eligible for entry. Purchases made before or after this period do not receive an entry.
3. Eligibility
3.1. Entry is open to New Zealand residents aged 18 years or over at the time of entry.
3.2. Employees of [Leading Midwifery Care], and their immediate families, are [eligible / not eligible] to enter.
3.3. We may require winners to provide proof of identity, age and eligibility before a prize is awarded.
4. How to enter
4.1. To enter, purchase the guide through our website at its normal price during the promotion period. One purchase = one automatic entry into the draw.
4.2. Entries are linked to the name and email address provided at checkout. Please ensure your details are correct, as we use them to contact winners.
4.3. Entries that are incomplete, fraudulent, or made using another person's payment or identity without authorisation may be disqualified.
5. The prizes
5.1. There are two prizes in this promotion:
Prize 1 — "Every Heartbeat Counts": a newborn & māmā gift, valued at approximately NZ$500.
Prize 2 — "A Little You Time": Vouchers and products from local business, valued at approximately NZ$500.
5.2. Prizes are as described and cannot be exchanged, transferred, or redeemed for cash unless stated otherwise.
5.3. If a prize (or any part of it) becomes unavailable for reasons beyond our control, we may substitute it for a prize of equal or greater value.
5.4. Any costs associated with claiming or using a prize that are not expressly included above (for example, travel or incidental costs) are the winner's responsibility.
6. The draw
6.1. Winners will be drawn at random from all eligible entries on 01/09/2026 at Leading Midwifery Care clinic in Tauranga".
6.2. The draw will be conducted by a member of the Leading Midwifery Care team to ensure a fair, random result.
6.3. Where there are two prizes: the first valid entry drawn will receive Prize 1, and the second valid entry drawn will receive Prize 2. No entrant may win more than one prize.
7. Notifying and claiming
7.1. Winners will be notified by email at the address used at purchase within 1 day of the draw, and may also be announced on our website and social media (see clause 9).
7.2. To claim a prize, a winner must respond and confirm their details within [14] days of being notified.
7.3. If a winner cannot be contacted, does not respond within [14] days, or is found to be ineligible, we reserve the right to draw a replacement winner from the remaining eligible entries. This may continue until a prize is claimed or until 1/10/2026, after which an unclaimed prize may not be awarded.
8. Prize conditions
8.1. Prizes are non-transferable and, unless stated, are not redeemable for cash.
8.2. Where a prize is supplied by a third party, use of that prize is subject to that supplier's own terms and conditions.
8.3. We are not responsible for prizes that are lost, delayed or damaged in transit, or for any issue with a prize once it has been supplied, except to the extent required by law.
9. Privacy and publicity
9.1. We collect entrants' names and contact details only to run this promotion, contact winners, and meet our record-keeping obligations. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 and our privacy policy at https://www.leadingmidwiferycare.com/privacy-policy
9.2. We will not sell entrants' personal information. We will only use it to market to you if you have separately opted in.
9.3. By accepting a prize, a winner agrees that we may publish their first name and general location (for example, "[First name], Tauranga") when announcing results. We will seek a winner's separate consent before publishing any photograph or additional details.
10. Our rights
10.1. If this promotion cannot run as planned for example due to tampering, technical failure, or any cause outside our reasonable control we may amend, suspend or cancel it, or disqualify any entrant involved in tampering or misconduct, to the extent permitted by law.
10.2. Our decisions in relation to the promotion are final, except where the law provides otherwise, and we will not enter into correspondence about the outcome of the draw.
11. Liability
11.1. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Fair Trading Act 1986, or other laws that cannot be excluded.
11.2. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your participation in this promotion or your use of any prize.
12. General
12.1. This promotion is a sales promotion and is conducted in accordance with applicable New Zealand law, including the Fair Trading Act 1986. It is not a lottery or raffle, and no separate payment is required to enter.
12.2. These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
12.3. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, any social media platform on which it may be promoted.
12.4. If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to apply.
